Sandy Springs firefighters were on the scene of a two-alarm blaze that damaged about 16 units of a Cimarron Parkway apartment complex. High winds Monday morning swept the fire through upper floor apartments in the complex, off Roswell Road. At least eight trucks and their crews responded to the blaze, the fire department said. Firefighters from Roswell and Cobb County were also on the scene to assist.
